$15 minimum wage

The 159th is made up of many blue collar workers who are struggling to get by. Carol believes that the current state minimum wage is a poverty wage and wants to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Cost of living has gone up, worker productivity has gone up, but our wages have remained stagnant.

Carol believes all workers deserve a livable wage, including tipped workers.
